Fred Fabricant will moderate a panel at IP Dealmakers Europe, taking place May 11-13 in London.
Fred’s session, “Making IP Pay: Monetization and Licensing Models That Work,” will bring together senior IP professionals to examine what drives successful outcomes in today’s IP market. The discussion will cover effective and ineffective monetization strategies, how to choose the right partner across licensors, NPEs, aggregators, funds, and hybrids, and how to package patents to maximize appeal, pricing, and execution.
Fred is one of the nation’s most active patent litigators, bringing more than 35 years of first-chair trial experience to patent, copyright, trademark, and unfair competition matters in federal courts nationwide. He has led successful litigation campaigns across a wide range of technologies, including semiconductor, memory, smartphones, automotive, cybersecurity, and payments. Fred has also practiced extensively before the ITC as well as the PTAB, where he has appeared in more than 250 inter partes review proceedings. Fred has particular experience advising clients regarding patent aggregation, portfolio monetization, and funding for patent acquisition and litigation finance.
