Fred Fabricant and Vincent Rubino will speak at the 13th Annual IP Dealmakers Forum, taking place November 2-4 in Austin, Texas. The forum brings together senior decision-makers from across the IP market, including corporate IP leaders, patent owners, litigation funders, and investors.
Fred will join the panel “Dealmakers’ Clinic: How Funders and Insurers Are Structuring Deals,” featuring speakers from Prince Lobel, CAC Specialty, and Pretium. The discussion will examine why funders are growing more selective about deploying capital and how insurance is becoming a more common part of deal structures. One of the nation’s most active patent litigators, Fred brings more than 35 years of first-chair trial experience and advises clients on portfolio monetization and litigation finance.
Vincent will moderate the panel “Masterclass: Is Your Portfolio Deal-Ready?” featuring leaders from ClearView IP, Abnormal Security, and Avanci. The session will look at what buyers and licensees expect from a patent portfolio and how owners can prepare their assets for the market. A founding partner of FRL, Vincent focuses on patent litigation for clients in the smartphone, wireless, semiconductor, and biotechnology industries and has represented clients in more than 250 proceedings before the PTAB.
