Julian Pymento has experience encompassing all stages of patent litigation in federal courts and inter partes review proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), pre-suit diligence and patent acquisition, and assisting on other intellectual property disputes, including trade secret misappropriation and proceedings before the International Trade Commission (ITC). Julian leverages his M.S. in electrical engineering to great effect across the technical gamut, whether interfacing internally with infringement, validity, and damages experts and case teams, extracting favorable and useful deposition testimony, or explaining complex concepts in motions and hearings.
Julian’s practice is informed by his prior experience with patent prosecution and his understanding of clients’ needs from a multidisciplinary lens. He has co-created and taught “Patent Law Essentials: What Scientists, Engineers, Physicians & Entrepreneurs Need to Know,” a workshop covering the basics of U.S. patent law, at top universities in the U.S. and Singapore.
